MR. CHRISTOPHER PAUL D'ALMADA e CASTRO

Mr. D'Almada is now 38. He was educated in England

and, after leaving school in 1927, was articuled to

his father. He took his solicitor's final examination

in 1932 and was admitted to practise in Hong Kong in

January, 1933 when he became a partner in the firm of

Messrs. Leo D'Almada & Co. He resigned from this

partnership in November, 1941, and joined the Colonial

Legal Service as Assistant Crown Solicitor. Since then

he has at various times acted as Land Officer, Registrar,

Registrar of Companies, Official Administrator, and

Official Trustee. He has occupied the last four posts

since the 22nd of December, 1947. He has shown himself

to be a capable officer.
